Super Son-day

 Last Sunday morning, I watched a soccer game between Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. I usually don't prefer watching the English premier league, because the game usually turns out to be boring after the first-half. However, a Korean player named Son Heung-min was on the squad. I had a feeling that he was going to score a goal.
 Son Heung-min scored the final goal against Crystal Palace. It was his third official game for the Spurs. He had a terrible debut game against Sunderland. I think he had the pressure from the fans, that he had to show his skills on the first game. Most of his fans had an opinion that the team over payed for him. However, he became the most popular player after the game. One goal was enough for him to make the fans cheer rather than booing.
 Unfortunately, he got an injury after the game. Because the fans won't be able to see their star player for a month, they are now depressed. I wish Son recovers well, and has his next Super Son-day. He also gives energy to the Korean soccer fans to go to work on Monday, after watching the game he scores.

The Great Gatsby

Recently I read The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, in which the heroine Daisy my attention and put me deep in thought.

 Daisy Buchanan, a beautiful, young, rich woman,which was Nick’s cousin, Tom’s wife.But the most important thing is that she is Gatsby’s lover. The story takes place in the 1920s in New York City and long Island .Daisy was born on a wealthy family, whereas Gatsby comes from a family which is low and poor, both his parents are shiftless and unsuccessful farmer. The young Gatsby is smart, and has a brown, strong body . He fell in love with Daisy, but not for long, as the result of the First World War, they were separated. Finally, because of the money, she was married to Tom, a cruel, supercilious manner. Daisy married life is not happy, because Tom had mistress. The satisfaction of material does not fill Daisy spiritual emptiness.

 Several years later, Gatsby came back, and carried a lot of money. He cannot stop loving Daisy. He across the Daisy's house to build a building, and want to attract attention to her. When Daisy knew, she agreed, and they composite soon, but unfortunately, Daisy is changed, she just take this relationship as a stimulus. In one time, Daisy drive the car, run the husband's mistress called Myrtle. In order to protect Daisy, Gatsby undertake for the accident, but Daisy has abandoned Gatsby. Because of the tom, Myrtle's husband shot and killed Gatsby. At last, Gatsby became a victim. Until his death, Gatsby didn't find Daisy's mocking smile on her face. People held the funeral for Gatsby, but at that time, Daisy and her husband had have a trip in Europe

  To sum up, Selfish and cruel is the nature of Daisy, and overbearing emphasis on money, at the end of the story, this all lead to her own destruction. Though unlike Gatsby's physical destruction, Daisy's is one of a mental and spiritual kind. 

My arm

     "Pete, hurry up! We need hand in the homework before next class starts! Only 5 minuets!" My friend said.

     "I am coming, Do we need go to downstairs?" I was asking.

     "Yes! Hurry up!" My friend told me.

     Then we brought our homework to run to the stairs.

     "Oh!" My left feet didn't tread the stair and I fell down from stairs. I tried to make my head clearly and hold my left arm that felt so hurt. When I leaned on the wall, I felt my left arm cannot move a lot, but my left hand was okay. 

     "Come here, Pete. I hold you to teacher's office," My friend cared me.

     "Th...anks," I tried to open my mouse.

     "Ding! Ding! Ding!" Next class was started.

      I arrived office. "Are you okay, Pete?" my teacher asked me," I will pick you up to the hospital! Don't be worry." Then she got off her right shoes, and she took four hundred yuan (yuan is Chinese money) from her sock. "Okay, let's go." She took on her shoes.
     In the taxi, my teacher's face looked so bad.I leaned her and tried to sleep. Then she called my mom.
     "Hi, this is Pete's teacher. Mrs.Gao. Your son has some problem for his left arm. Please......." I didn't hear what they said, because I already slept.
     When I waked up, we arrived hospital. And I saw my mom stood front gate. She looked so hurry. I tried to make smile on my face that likes my arm doesn't have big problem. When I came up to her. She changed her face, she looked so angry.
     "I told you before! Be careful! Be careful! But why do you not listen to me. If you were careful, you wouldn't be now!" my mom were so angry," Let's go to check your arm." Then my mom and Mrs.Gao cared me to check body for one and half hour.
     "Your arm is broken, I will bandaged your left arm. Don't worry about your arm. You should do a few exercise. Don't shake you left arm so much. And be careful in the future!" The doctor told me.
     "How long do I need have a rest?" I worried and asked the doctor.
     "About 3 month," The doctor said.
     When I came back to school. Mrs.Gao told to my classmates,"Pete's arm is broken, pleases everybody takes care of Pete. Because he cannot move a lot his left arm."
     In this 3 month, my classmates helped me many things. They helped me to get lunch from lunch room, they did the cleaner that I would do, and they told to my P.E teacher that I am sick.
     Three month latter, my mom invited Mrs.Gao to eat dinner together. And my mom thanked her a lot.
     

       

Trip in the museum

    Honestly speaking,I don't like museums at the first time my parents take me to there and I don't know what is interesting in it. My mom said I should go to the museum when you got to a new place. As the result,  I was force to go with her as the first time she got to Washington DC.

    The first twenty minute are super boring, I just few like it's wasting of time and my mom kept talk to me that things she though was interesting. After she has watch for all the exhibit,I suggest I'd like to go by myself. When my mom left, I begin stroll around and trying to find something interesting.In the next hour,I saw transportation in ancient time,people's clothing,electricity's development and so on.The introduction of the exhibit attract me so much.
    We come out after 4 o'clock in the afternoon ,"It's has so much fun in the museum" I said,"I never thought there has so much things to do." We get most knowledge from books and teachers,but we can know things from other places as well.It's fun to get knowledge from out of class.

A Bear Family

          Once upon a time, there is a wooden house in the forest.  A strong bear Mark fall in loved with the pretty bear Mary, and their had a lovely baby girl May, One year, they had new baby Tony. A young bear Tony is the new baby of this family. His older sister is being jealous of him, because their parents take care of the new baby too much. She started say some bad word to her parents, she doesn't listen to her parents anymore, she feels so lonely and no one loves her. Time passes quickly, Tony is growing up, he realized his sister pretend hates him. One day, They went to play with rabbits Kevin. They are argue with something, Kevin wants to hurt May, Tony protects his sister so he got hurt not May. May start realize what means family, she started feel the love from her mom, her dad and her younger brother Tony.  

My plan of Christmas Holiday.

My plan of Christmas Holiday.

I will go back to China in this Christmas Holiday. I will leave America on December nineteenth and arrive in China on December twenty-first. And I am thinking about what I'm going to do in China. This must be a big project. My detailed plan as follows.

Firstly, I want to eat some Chinese food, such as noodles, red-braised Pork and hot Pot. And I would like to eat my mother’s hand-made food. In my mind, my mother’s food is the most delicious one. Maybe I can learn some recipes from mother. In addition, if someone want to buy Chinese food, you can call me, and I will bring some for you. This is my phone number---703 624 4098. ( You have to give me a shopping list before I go please.)

Secondly, I want to visit my best friend Yao who is working in HuiZhou city now. She is a charming and smart girl. Although she is five years older than me, we also have so many same hobbies.  I wish that we can eat lunch, savor dim sum during teatime and make some cakes together. Maybe I can live in her house for one night. I believe that I will have an amazing time with her.

Thirdly, I want to visit all my family members. I extremely miss them. I want to have a dinner and spend the New Year with them. I will tell all my American storied with them. In addition, I also need to study in math. I think that my sister will be a good math teacher for me, so I will go to find my sister to help with math.  I also want to keep company with my cousin for some days because he said that he would make some good cookies for me. Besides, they will give me lucky money for the Spring Festival. So I can buy some I like in America.

At the end, I want to give big hugs for every family members and friends. Also,I will stay at home with my parents and my brother as long as I can . We will have an enjoyable holiday!

Fishing

Last Thursday morning,I went fishing with my host family. We drove to a big park.There were many fishes there.

   We went to a small fishing pool. We took out two fishing pole and already have some fish food. I tied some fish food on the hook,then pulled the hook, let the fishing line go. The fish string flew out. It slammed into the water. We waited again and again. We tried again and again. We did not get any fishes. Then, we heard someone said, “No one get 

even one fish for now.” But we still tried hard.

    A few hours later, I finally caught a fish.It looks like so small. But when I saw there was a hole in its mouth. So I put it back to water.

    Until the afternoon, we have nothing to gain, but in the end, when I am ready to take the pole, the fast line of the line is not carefully checked to a fish, a small fish on the shore. We took a lot of effort to save it from the hook.And uncle said the fish was too small, so we put it back of the water.

  Although we are not hook the harvest fish,(and ducks mess）but we are still very happy！
